<Rant>
It's a sign that Microsoft is losing customers because there closed
source software does not always work with open source / closed source
software. They (Microsoft) are losing customers when they (Microsoft)
then make changes to the next reversion of what ever MS product. So
it breaks the open source / closed source software designed to work
with there product. People are no longer believing the MS marking
machine with the ads that say "Windows has a lower total cost of owner
ship." They are also not letting the sales reps get away with
extortion when

There are allot of business out there that are kinda stick with
Windows because that's all most people know how to use. Most people
don't want to change back to OS X aka "The Apple UI (User Interface).
or some other GUI because people don't like change. Some people have
to change due to cost and what not. I would say 85% of the
population, ( If you believe MS has 90% of the desktop market or 85%
of it. ) are happy with windows because it works for them and that's
all they care about. If you have ever needed to manage users on a
large scale or small scale more than 10 people or 500+. Active
Directory does a good job of managing user access and rights. It also
integrates with Linux, and Unix operating systems Apache and Samba.
Microsoft tools for managing Windows desktops also work with Windows
really well. If I where to give Microsoft a A+ on anything. It would
be there documentation. If only SUN, RedHat, Oracle and the others
learn to publish documentation like Microsoft. I think the world be
some what of a better place. Then again people like me and the rest
of you out there. Who make a living because people don't understand
the documentation would be out of a job.
