[Eug-lug] The Future of EUGLUG

Agreed -- we need some fresh blood on oureach, please. Not that I want to
stop doing it by any means, I've just become somewhat out-of-touch from our
meetings and such.

As for "official nonprofit status", the last time this was brought up, it
was put down quickly due to the attainment of 501(3)(c) costing $500-$1500
(or more, if not done carefully).
I have been making some new friends with attorneys and will ask, but it is
not simple and I think the group should look to fund-raise the money to get
it done, unless we have an angel on the li$t :)

I agree with the 3-pronged approach (social/outreach/education).

As for servers, it makes little difference to me, so whoever gets to have
their hands on the stuff, have fun and please continue to have the group's
best interest in mind.
I would like to see some new software on the server at some point though,
maybe in a "beta-testers" xen domain or something -- Zimbra for one is
operational :)

As for more mailing lists, we had other ones which are ALMOST dead (please
don't pull comparts though there is a big tux in the works!).... if you
think we need more lists, why haven't you been using the other ones we
have? Fickle? Yeah, me too :) ;)
I don't mind more mailing lists though, not at all.

thanks for your time!

    Ben
