[Eug-lug] Linux box emulating a keyboard?

I would like to use a Linux PC to generate keyboard input on another PC.
(The other PC runs Windows.)

I know that PS/2 ports are kinda sorta serial ports, and the Linux PC
has a spare serial port.  Is it possible to use a serial port to emulate
a keyboard?

Or is there a better way?  (They both have USB ports too...)
