Ya, that's a tad bit cleaner ain't it?

I had taken my example from a script I found on www.ltsp.org. It was 
actually used in a somewhat different context of running when the user 
actually logged out. I looked at it and figured it would work just as 
well for my purposes, not realizing there'd be an easier way with just 
the killall command...

kill 'em... kill 'em all...  !
