[Eug-lug] choosing Debian

I know there are a couple Debian based distros available. What
I'd like to know is what is current, who has used what, and what
will give me the most off a CD or two before hitting the net?
I'm thinking Debian for my miniITX to save time and sanity. Get
Slackware current was too simple but I can just swaret or
slapt-get mythtv on there like I can with Debian. Not to mention
I wouldn't have to wait for it to compile on Gentoo. I'm looking
to not make the box dependant upon any others except for mass
file storage.
